Course of studies

Career prospects
Qualification for further studies with the main subject "choral conducting". Increased chances when applying to grammar schools with a musical focus. Increased chances when applying for choral and orchestral conducting positions in the concert life of cities and municipalities.

What is behind the profile?
In the choral conducting profile, students have the opportunity to develop their skills in this field in individual lessons, small groups and in work with the university ensembles (MHL Choir and MHL Chamber Choir), in order to qualify for further main subject studies at another university if necessary. School musicians with special choral conducting and conducting skills are also interesting partners for grammar schools or municipal concert and oratorio choirs. This range of goals is the focus of the choral conducting profile.

What is special about the profile?   
Individual tuition in conducting and choral conducting, work with university ensembles, opportunities for work shadowing in the semi-professional and professional sector.
